My journey to becoming a coach was forged through personal experience. After navigating two burnouts, the challenges of an extremely premature child and a sick partner, grappling with past traumas, confidence issues, and career shocks, I realised the power of values-driven living and the potential for positive change.

While I explored psychotherapy, I discovered my passion for empowering individuals who are ready to actively shape their lives. I believe transformative coaching is the key to unlocking this potential.

My relevant academic background

My coaching training is from Animas, London's leading coaching school, accredited by the major international coaching bodies: the ICF (International Coaching Federation), EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council), and AC (British Association for Coaching).

This rigorous training provides a strong foundation for my practice, which I enhance with insights from my academic background. I hold a degree in Sociology (with Psychology) from Bristol (UK) and a Certificate in Counselling diploma. I've also explored NLP to further refine my coaching techniques.

Creating a powerful "thinking environment" is at the heart of everything I do. I bring a unique blend of experience to my practice, integrating insights from therapeutic practices, NLP techniques, and over 20 years in the IT industry. This integrated approach informs my two key service offerings: 1:1 coaching (as described on this website) and business consulting for SMEs and charities. I empower businesses to develop, grow, and build confidence through strategic business development planning, always prioritising the creation of a supportive and empowering "thinking environment."

My career journey has evolved from junior sales positions to leadership roles in business growth departments, helping multiple companies scale successfully. As a founder of two companies and current Director/ co-owner of 'Monarch Market & Business Development', a business consulting firm (www.monarchbd.org), I specialise in creating strategic growth pathways that prioritise supportive and empowering environments for sustainable success.
